Department of Census and Statistics conducts the Census of Public & Semi-Government Sector Employment once in four years since 1980. This Census collected information on personal and occupational attributes of the employees such as, personal emoluments, occupation, language abilities educational qualifications, professional qualifications, salary particulars, details of loan, leave taken, district of permanent residence, district of residence, mode of travel and distance , knowledge in using computers.
